A: My driver's door did this on my LS400. Mine had to do with the security system - it cost me a little $800 to have it fixed. You probably need to take it to your dealer.

A: 98 up gs300 are VVT-I. That's a nice care. It's also inline 6 not V6. Handle are great. It's a bigger verson of the IS300. I own one myself. Good trade...

My brother and I just replaced the front struts on my 2002 Lexus GS 300 and when I started it up for a test drive the VCS, ABS, and VSC OFF lights stayed on. Could it just be a loose connection or do I need to take it to the dealer.

A: No the engines are not completely the same and obviously the vehicles are all completely different.

A: Hi.......i am a car wholesaler, that car books out at $9,000, but thats for a car with 80,000 miles. Luxury cars depreciate more with higher miles. All though that is a well built car, and it may look and run well, anything can go wrong with that many miles on it. I would knock off at least half the value, since it has so many miles. Chances are the seller knows its worth virtually nothing as a trade. I think i would knock off $4-5000. I would look for a similar car with lower miles.........Good Luck!!!

A: You better check with a dealer... sometimes when you put on too big a rim, you can really screw up the geometry of the vehicle. it will ride poorly, handle dreadfully and wear out parts that were not meant for that size rim.

I really want more bass in my Lexus, but I dont want to mess around with anything as far as amplification or a box in my trunk, actually i would, but my dad would kill me. I realize that there already is a sub in the roof of the trunk and I'm wondering if I could just put a really good sub in there with whatever wires Lexus has it attached with. Also if I do this do you think I will have any gain? If you dont think that this is wise could you please instruct me on where the best place to get some installed because I want a clean job and I dont want to do the work. Also could you tell me what the best ide for exhaust would be. I want some noise, but I dont want to pay for it. Those $50 exhausts on ebay - are they any good? A: i dont really know what the sub specs for the gs 300 are but you can upgrade pretty much any thing in life. first of all its not a good idea to mount a sub where its currently mounted. im sure ull gain some by investing in a better sub, but if u complain about a $50 exhaust then buying another sub might not be such a good idea. my advice would be to go for a small bass tube with a build in amp. if u chuck one of these in the boot ur dad might not even notice it.

A: If you are talking about the brake lamp fuse it is under the driver's side kick panel. It may be a 10 amp fuse but check the EWD or the cover for more information.
Q: Hello I have a 1993 Lexus GS 300 and the radio stopped working?
My radio will turn on and the display works fine however there is no sound comming from the speakers. Even the tape player has no sound but it works as far as all of the features are concerned. I went through a car wash and the antanna was torn off but you would think that the tape player would not have been effected by that. I have taken the radio out and made sure the wiring harness was still atached and everything appears to be fine. I'd think that there should be static or something comming from the speakeers even with the antanna being damaged. Even the stereo light comes on to show that the radio is receiving a signal but there is no sound. If anyone can help with this matter I would realy apriciate it Thank You Robert B.
A: I say try changing the antenna cuz some car radio`s use that as a secondary ground! Or atleast see if the Antenna is all hooked up completely
Q: What is wrong with my lexus gs 300?
You know when you stick your fingers on the fan? It makes that noise when im cruising. I dont know where it is coming from. It gets louder as i drive more and it goes away when i brake or when i give gas. It only happens when im cruising. Any ideas?
A: Sounds like a wheel bearing problem. Don't ignore it.....get it checked out before you wear your brakes out from it holding the wheel vertical (that's what bearings are good for!).
If you ignore it for too long, you won't have any brakes left, and will have to replace those as well.

A: I think its because it's too old and too small usually SUVS don't have that kind of problem, also u can feel small cars glide when your driving too fast
