A: Go to Ford's web site and click on the Lincoln web site and take a look at all the models that they make. I doubt that they make any V-4's but see if any of the models appeal to you. good luck.

Our cars are constently being repaired, rear doors extend to far and if caught by wind are damaged by extension hitting front doors.

A: all depends on what you know and how fast you are and if you have the right tools.it takes me about 3 hours to pull and put one in(replaced about 25 trannys)and about 5 hours on a chevy fwd.

Owners of 95 - 96 & 97 Lincoln Town Cars - I recently acquired a 95 Lincoln Town Car and the previous owner lost the Keyless Entry Remote Key FOB's. Can someone who owns a 95 Town Car and has the remote please tell me the numbers on the back? The numbers on the back are the same for each remote produced for that car, so another remote with the same numbers on the back will not work with your car unless it is programed to your car by using your personal security code for the car, plus I don't know where you live, in other words, this question isn't one to get personal info of any sort. Just trying to locate a replacement for my car, I don't have the ones that came with the car, so I don't know the info for ones that are compatible. That is why I am asking the 95 Lincoln owners to help me out. I understand that the remote for the 95 will work on the 96 & 97 models also (if programed to the car). Thanks for your help.
I have contacted a local dealer and asked them what part etc, their response "Why would I want to do that?" was the reply. I also contacted Ford directly and they couldn't pull up any information from my VIN there. I know how to program them, just need to know the correct part and FCC ID for my car.

Q: how do i replace a brake line in a 94 lincoln town car?
i have a94 lincoln town car an i went to go to work an my brake line exploded, i didnt have any leaks to my knowledge unitil it happened....pepboys cut one of my lines an pulled it out an put a new piece in, but i dont know how to do that hopefully someone can help? and how long is the right side brake line that goes along the frame?
A: Cut the piece that has the hole in it out and get a couple of compression fittings,go to your local auto store get a section of line,more than likely 3/8in line and when your there they'll go into more detail on how to do it.And it wouldn't cost near $400 for your local garage to do it,they chage around $60 an hour and it's about a 40min job.

Im having trouble locating my tranny fluid drain plug on my 92 lincoln town car if i could get a general idea of where it is or what its next to i would appreciate it tks.
A: If you can find the pan, the plug will be there somewhere. It may not have a drain plug. You may have to pull the pan off. A lot of cars dont have plugs these days to encourage you to get it done by a dealor.
